64 Marking Ink Blue, 1 Quart

Specifications:  Meets or exceeds Specification RBO125-011 / ABO290-002 Type 1 Class 1

Recommended Substrates:  Most non-porous surfaces such as metals, plastics, packaging film and some rubber products. When marked on a clean, dry surface it is waterproof and resistant to some oils.

Adherence: Even though it is a non-etching ink the adherence qualities are good onclean bare metals of all kinds, glass, most plastics, and rubber compounds with theexception of silicone. Prior to testing adherence, we recommend an air-dry period of 24hours. An application of heat (when the surface temperature reaches 250°F) for 30-45minutes will give even better adherence and greater solvent resistance. It is resistant to water, salt spray, gasoline, lubrication oils, alipathics, hydrocarbons, many alkaline anddetergent compounds, as well as some degreasing solvents. Adherence is poor to fair when exposed to Ketone and alcohol solvents.

Corrosion: Since the ink is not compounded with toxic or harmful acids, it is noncorrosive on aluminum alloys, magnesium, stainless, titanium, and many of the exotic space-metals.
