Independent Ink, Inc. is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of high resolution inks specifically developed for use in piezo-electric and hot melt ink jet applications.  

Using the expertise of our Ph.D. polymer chemist, Independent Ink, Inc. has developed hot melt inks specifically for use in the Markem® wax-based ink jet printers. These high resolution inks achieve excellent barcode readability while still being machine friendly.

Independent Ink, Inc. has also become one of world’s leading manufacturers of high resolution inks developed specifically for use in the Trident® head piezo-electric printers.

Trident® powered high resolution ink jet printers are frequently sold under their OEM partners’ names including Marsh®, Videojet®, Diagraph®, Foxjet® and ITI® brands. Independent’s proprietary quick disconnect valve system ensures a clean, user friendly and machine-compatible ink container delivery system.  

In 2006, Independent Ink, Inc. joined with an OEM equipment partner to manufacture and market high resolution ink jet printers utilizing HP® technology and Independent’s inks. Specialized inks manufactured in our state-of-the-art facilities allow for industry setting reliability and open time barcode readability with sub-micron filtered quality.
