Secondary Packaging Applications

High-resolution printing, exceptional quality and low cost-per-print all can be acquired by using the FlexCode range of thermal ink jet (TIJ) printers. The LexmarkTM technology allows Independent Ink customers to meet or exceed regulations set within the modern distribution chain including standards for text, graphics and barcodes – both linear and 2D.

By utilizing ink jet printing on outer carton packaging, customers can decrease the carton inventory, allow larger runs and reduce costs associated with “generic” cartons. Additional benefits include reducing times with set up and changeover and also allowing just-in-time packaging.

The aqueous and solvent-based inks available at Independent Ink allow printing on a diverse group of substrates including corrugated boxes and trays and coated and varnished boxes.
